Today’s bathroom has evolved from
a necessity to a place where you finally can relax in a
surrounding that is completely set to all your requirements.
It’s now about 25 years ago, when I lived in Quebec
on a 54 acre farm, I installed a complete bathroom in my
greenhouse which was attached to the main house and every
time we took a bath it was like been in your own private
rainforest.
I know this is seldom possible in town but there are endless
possibilities to set the bathroom design to your own hand.
One example; a bathroom overlooking the
garden with large windows is a pretty view.
A number of considerations;
Do you need privacy in the bathroom, except using the toilet?
Do you spend a lot of time in a bathroom, consider hanging
a TV on the wall.
Have nice furniture in the bathroom, a relaxing fauteuil
covered with terry cloth, for when you get out of the bathtub.
